Ever gone to groceries had been bored just looking at the some of vegetables ?for that i used to make a sabzi using unripened papaya,which is very different in usual vegetables and has high anti oxidants and increases the immune system.

Ingredients of Papaya Sabzi

1.00 no Raw Papaya
0.25 cup Grated Coconut
2.00 no Onion
1.00 no Green Chilly
0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
0.50 tbsp salt
2.00 tbsp Oil
1.00 tbsp Chana dal

Papaya Sabzi

Peel off the skin of raw papaya and remove the seeds and fine chop the papaya vegetable and also chop some onions and some green chilies and grate some coconut,

Heat a pan add two tbsp of refined oil and then plotters some mustard seeds and one tbsp of chana dal,roast them for few seconds,

Then add some chopped onions and sliced green chilies and some curry leaves with them saute well till onion gets transparent,

When onions get saute add a pinch of hing which is optional and add chopped raw papaya vegetable with them saute well for few seconds,

Then add needed salt and a pinch of turmeric powder and also add little water for boil the papaya,and close the lid and keep boiling for five minutes,

After five minutes the papaya gets well cooked and also the water gets dried,now add the grated coconut with them and stir well,

Papaya is soo healthy food for everyone whether you use it as fruit or used it as vegetables. I am trying this papaya sabji with this recipe and I liked it. Wonderful side dish.. Still now I didn't try this recipe but after seeing this dish u decided I really want to try this recipe..papaya is very good for health,good for skin and it has lot of proteins and you have used chana dal which will add more taste to the dish..
