Paneer Kofta – Different Taste Of Spicy Paneer Kofta Recipe

Ingredients
For Kofta Ingredients
- 0.25 gram Paneer cubes
- 3.00 nos potaoes
- 1.00 cup Besan flour
- 2.00 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
- 2.00 tbsp corn flour
- 1.25 cup Oil
For Gravy Ingredients
- 3.00 tbsp Oil
- 0.50 tbsp Fennel seeds
- 1.00 nos Briyani leaf
- 1.00 nos Lavang
- 6.00 nos Curry leaves
- 3.00 nos Green chillies
- 2.00 nos Onions
- 2.00 nos Tomatoes
- 1.00 nos Ginger
- 6.00 nos Garlic cloves
- 2.00 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1.00 tbsp Garam masala
- 1.00 tbsp Coriander powder
- 0.50 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 0.25 cup Water
- 0.25 tbsp Salt
Instructions
For Kofta Ingredients
- The key ingredients to prepare paneer kofta,we need paneer ,potatoes,tomatoes,onions,garlic cloves,green chillies,ginger,briyani spices,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,coriander powder,turmericpowder,besan flour,corn flour and oil as required.
- Turn on the flame,add medium size potatoes in a pressure cooker and leave it 2 to 3 whistles.
- After 2 to 3 whistles ,when the pressure calms down completely open the lid slowly and seperate in a bowl.
- Take a mixing bowl ,add sliced paneer cubes on it ,you can use soft paneer or hard paneer if its home made.
- After draining the water,peel the potato skin ,add into the paneer cubes and mash it very well.
- Add half cup of besan flour or chick pea flour and mix it thoroughly along with ingredients.
- Add a tablespoon of red chilli powder for taste and spiciness and mix all these completely.
- Add little bit salt for taste,add less salt because we need to add salt for curry mixture.
- Form like a dough after finishing the process and let them make a shape of the mixture.
- Take a small amount of mixture,Make a round size ball shape like above shown image .
- Take half cup of corn flour,coat the balls with corn flour lightly don’t over coat it.
- Do the remaining balls in a same procedure and keep it aside in a seperate plate.
- It’s time to deep fry ,turn on the flame ,place a pan ,add a required oil and let it heat.
- Drop one by one mixture balls into hot oil and let it fry for few seconds.
- Fry it till when the ball turns golden brown color ,flip it on all sides .
- Now take the balls and drain the oil completely and seperate it in a plate.
For Gravy Ingredients
- It’s time to prepare masala ,Take a blender jar add four pieces of onions in it.
- Add two pieces of tomatoes ,you can even add deseeded tomatoes ,if possible you can peel the tomato skin.
- Add half inch pieces of ginger in it or you can add a tablespoon of ginger paste seperately.
- Add 5 to 6 garlic cloves into a blender jar or else you can discard it.
- Now blend all these ingredients and make a fine paste or it should be puree manner.
- It’s time for seasoning,turn on the flame,place a pan add two to three tablespoon of oil.
- Add half tablespoon of fennel seeds or cumin seeds and let it splutter for few seconds .
- Now add briyani spices ,briyani leaf,lavang,flower lavang, singlecardamoms,gasagasa and let it splutter for few seconds.
- Add 5 to 6 curry leaves and let it splutter ,saute all these ingredients lightly.
- Add to three green chillies or else you can add green chilli paste and saute it.
- Add a blended puree into the sauting mixture and stir it very well and let it cook.
- Add a tablespoon of red chilli powder or kashmiri red chilli powder and saute it.
- Add a tablespoon of garam masala or dhania powder and saute it well and let it cook.
- Add a tablespoon of coriander powder or else you can sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves and mix it.
- Add half pinch of turmeric powder and mix it ,you can add half cup of cream if you prefer.
- Add little bit of water,i have used blended water and mix it ,let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add salt for taste and mix it ,then close the lid and leave it under again 2 to 3 minutes.
- Drop the fried balls one by one into the hot curry then again cook it.
- Now let it cook in low flame ,let the curry blend with the balls and turn off the flame,our yummy paneer kofta recipe is ready now.
