Palak Dal Fry
- 1.00 cup Toor Dal
- 1.00 cup Moong Dal
- 0.25 cup Garlic Cloves
- 5.00 nos Ginger Pieces
- 1.00 cup Onions
- 3.00 nos Green Chilies
- 5.00 nos Curry Leaves
- 2.00 cup Palak Leaves
- 3.00 nos Tomatoes
- 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.5 tbsp Cumin Seeds Powder
- 1.00 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1.00 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 0.5 tbsp Garam Masala
- 3.00 nos Red Chilies
- 0.5 tbsp Hing
- 0.25 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 0.25 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 0.5 cup Oil
- 1.00 tbsp Crystal Salt
Palak Dal Fry
- Turn on the flame ,Place a pressure cooker ,add a cup of toor dal in it.
- Take a cup of moong dal and add the dal along with the tuvar dal.
- Add few garlic cloves along with the toor dal and moong dal for better taste.
- Add few ginger pieces along with the toor dal and moong dal for better taste.
- Add two cups of water in a pressure cooker ,you can soak the dal few minutes and allow to boil.
- After 2 to 3 whistles,open it Mash the boiled toor dal and moong dal completely.
- Turn on the flame,place a pan or tawa ,add two to three tablespoon of oil.
- Add a tablespoon of cumin seeds and a pinch of mustard seeds in hot oil.
- Add a cup of chopped onions then mix all the ingredients let it turns light color.
- Add the broken green chillies and curry leaves for more spices along with the ingredients and saute it.
- Add washed and finely chopped palak leaves along with the onions and fry for few seconds.
- Add a cup of deseeded tomatoes into the mixture ,tomatoes should be finely chopped for these recipe.
- Add a tablespoon of crystal salt or as per taste along with the mixture and mix it.
- Add nicely boiled dal puree and stir it very well ,cook it for few seconds.
- Add half tablespoon of turmeric powder for a taste along with the cooking mixture .
- Add a tablespoon of coriander powder or malli powder and cumin powder for a taste along with the cooking mixture .
- Add a single tablespoon of red chilli powder along with the cooking mixture in a medium flame.
- Add finely chopped coriander leaves or cilantro and mix it lightly ,let them cook for few seconds.
- Add the seasoning ingredients fried curry leaves,red chilles,mustard seeds,asafoetida in two tablespoon of hot oil
- Lasooni Palak dal fry cooked completely,turn off the flame and leave it to cool then transfer it in a separate bowl.
