STEP : 1
Take a cup of moong dal. heat non-stick pan and roast the moong dal until it turn light pink in colour. And transfer it to a separate bowl.

Wash a bunch of palak or spinach at least for 3 times and chop it properly. Keep it separately on a plate.

Make a fine puree of tomato in a grinder. also take 1 tablespoon of ginger. 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and red chilli powder.

Boil the moong dal and palak or spinach with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt as required in a pressure cooker. And then transfer it to a bowl.

Heat 2 tablespoon of ghee in a non-stick pan. add cumin seeds and sauté for a second and then add grated ginger and again sauté it for few second.

Low down the flame to low and add tomato puree and red chilli powder. Mix well. cook it until oil get start separated from the masalas.

After few minutes and add the boiled dal and palak and mix well. Cover the non-stick pan with a lid at least for 15 minutes on a low flame.

Open the lid and add garam masala and 1 tablespoon ghee. Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with lemon and green chilli.
