Wash and peel the garlic. Chop the onion into small slices. Slit the green chili. Cut the tomato into small pieces.

Take the spinach leaves, cut off the stem and wash and clean the leaves very well under running water till there is no mud/dust.

Take the chicken breast piece and wash it very well under running water and set it aside to be chopped into small pieces.

Cut the chicken into small cubes, marinate for an hour with salt, turmeric, curd and tandoori masala powder and keep it in the refrigerator.

Heat oil in a kadai and add the marinated chicken to the same. Fry it very well till almost all the watery part is drained off.

To the fried chicken add the garlic cloves and let them also fry in the hot oil till they turn golden brown in color.

Add the slitted green chili and the onion pieces to the kadai and mix it very well with the chicken and let the onion fry till it turns pinkish.

Add the chopped tomatoes and then mix it very well with the rest of the ingredients in the kadai and cook till the tomato melts.

Add the washed and chopped spinach leaves into the kadai and let it cook slowly with the chicken and the masala.

Mix the spinach leaves very well in the kadai and stir continuously so that nothing sticks to the bottom. The spinach almost melts and becomes very small in size. Once the spinach is cooked the dish is ready to be served.
