Oats Chilla – Simple And Spicy Oats Chilla Recipe For Breakfast
Oats chilla recipe is delicious and spicy dish that can be prepared very simply in our house. All age people loved this recipe and also mostly sugar patients can prefer this recipe.

Oats Chilla
- 0.5 cup Oats
- 0.5 cup Gram Flour
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 1.00 nos Tomato
- 1.00 nos Green Chilly
- 0.5 tbsp Ginger Slices
- 0.5 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 0.25 tbsp Salt
- 2.00 tbsp Oil
Instructions
Oats Chilla
- Take a mixer jar add half a cup of quick cooking oats,which is the main ingredient for this oats chilla.
- Grind the added quick cooking oats into fine powder,if it does not fine grind it takes some more time to cook itself.
- Take one onion,one tomato,one green chilly,half an inch of ginger and few coriander leaves and fine chop all of them.
- Take a large mixing bowl,add those well grounded and powdered quick cooking oats flour into them.
- Then add half a cup of gram flour into them,where both the flour remains equal ratio.
- Then add all chopped veggies such as onion,tomato,ginger and green chilly and some coriander leaves into them.
- Add some water with them and stir well the flour mixes well without any lumps on it.
- Blend well all the ingredients without any lumps,add some water if required and it comes to dosa batter consistency.
- Then add enough salt for this mixed flour and ingredients,at this stage you may add some red chilly powder if needed.
- Heat a flat pan or tawa,crease some oil and take one heaped spoonful of prepared oats and gram flour mixer,and spread them as circular shape.
- Pour some oil over the corner side of that spread chilla,brings to b[oil for few minutes.
- Flip the chilla to another side and bring to boil for a few minutes in medium flame,do not over burn the chilla where it turns black.
- When the chilla gets boiled on both sides now remove from pan and serve hot with sauce or chutney.
