This is a very famous and tasty fry of fish made using fish named netholi or velloori . its very crispy and yummy , we can eat its bones also .there won't be any waste for this fry . this fish is rich in protein also .

Ingredients of Nethili fry

0.50 kg netholi fish
0.50 tbsp chilly powder
0.25 tbsp turmeric powder
0.25 tbsp coriander powder
0.25 tbsp salt
0.25 cup oil

Nethili fry

At the first step take out the netholi fish from the fridge and keep this in a bowl with some water .

Then clean the fish using water and then remove its head and tail and then again clean it .

Drain off excess water and then put some red chilly powder , salt , turmeric powder , coriander powder to it .

Then mix everything well using clean hands and keep it aside for more than half an hour .

Then heat a pan put some oil to it and when it is hot put the marinated fish pieces to it .

The center bone is not hard as in other fish varieties so when fried can be eaten as such. This method i tried recently comes out super crispy and tasty too..this fry is very famous appetizer, it tastes super good..This is loved by all age groups, it is so delicious which will make you ask for more. one of my favorite dish, the bones in the fish are soft and you need not remove while eating.
