Ingredients of Navratan korma

STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare Navarattan kurma,we need shredded coconut,green peas,onions,potatoes,green chillies,ginger,paneer cubes,capsicum,tomatoes,carrot,beans,cauliflower,raisins cumin seeds, garam masala,coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,cumin seeds powder,cashewnuts,garlic cloves,oil and salt.

Wash the two medium size potatoes and peel the potato skin ,cut into small pieces .

Cut the cauliflower in to pieces ,soak it in a hot water to kill the germs.

STEP : 4
Turn on the flame ,Place a pressure cooker ,add a cup of water and let it boil.

STEP : 5
When the water boils ,add the potatoes pieces and add little bit of salt for a taste.

Add the small pieces of green beans in a boiling water and let it boil.

Add a cup of small pieces of carrot in a boiling water and let it boil.

Add a cup of fresh or frozen green peas in a boiling water and let it boil.

Add a cup of green capsicum or bell pepper in a boiling water and let it boil.

Strain the water then add a cup of cauliflower in a boiling water and let it boil.

When everything is added completely ,close the cooker lid and leave it for two whistles

After 2 whistles turn off the flame,when the pressure comes down completely slowly open the lid.

When it cools ,strain the water and seperate the mixed vegetables in a seperate bowl,

For making masala puree ,turn on the flame,place a pan ,add two tablespoon of oil.

Add a cup of onion cubes and saute it for few cooks let it turns transparent.

Add peeled five nos of ginger pieces and saute it for few seconds ,let it cook.

Add five nos of garlic cloves along with the ingredients and let them cook for few seconds.

Add a cup of tomato pieces ,saute it and leave it till it turns soft.

Turn off the flame and allow them to cool then add in a blender jar.

Blend all those for few seconds till it turns creamy texture and seperate it in a bowl.

In a same blender,add a cup of shredded or grated coconut to make them a fine paste.

Add five nos of cashew in it,add the cashewnuts after soaking it in a water.

Add the broken green chillies for more spices along with the shredded coconut in a blender.

Now blend it for few seconds till it turns semi coarse paste and seperate it.

For seasoning ,add four to five tablespoon of oil and let it heat in a low flame.

Add few raisins in a low flame and fry it en add,you can even add a tablespoon of ghee.

Add few broken cashews in a low heat and let it fry for few seconds.

Add few paneer or cottage cheese cubes and let it fry for few seconds in low flame.

When it is fried take it away the fried ingredients and keep it aside in a separate plate.

In a same pan ,add few tablespoon of cooking oil and let it heat for few seconds.

Add a tablespoon of cumin seeds or shah jeera and let it splatter for few seconds.

Add the blended masala puree and mix it completely ,let it cook for few seconds.

Add a single tablespoon of red chilli powder along with the cooking mixture in a medium flame.

Add half tablespoon of turmeric powder for a taste along with the cooking mixture .

Add half tablespoon of cumin seeds powder or jeera powder for a taste along with the cooking mixture .

Add a tablespoon of garam masala powder for more spices along with the cooking mixture .

Add a tablespoon of coriander powder or malli powder for a taste along with the cooking mixture .

Add a tablespoon of salt or as per your taste and mix it well thoroughly.

Now add the boiled mixed vegetables and mix it ,let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the vegetable straining water into the mixture and let them cook for few seconds.

Now add the blended coconut puree water instead of plain water for good taste and smell.
