The first most thing is to take a half kilo of country chicken which is cut into medium sized pieces and wash it thoroughly and take it to a bowl

Chop the onions into small pieces and cut green chillies into two pieces. Take a pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil and let it heat.

When the oil got heated up add chopped onion and chopped green chillies and curry leaves and fry them till it gets golden brown color.

Now add the washed chicken pieces into it and add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste and pinch of turmeric powder.

Mix all the ingredients well and add a cup of water to it and let it boil for 5 minutes. Now put the lid attached with a whistle.

Now cook until it blows 4 whistles . Now put off the flame and let the cooker rest for some time to open the lid.

Now open the lid and cook the chicken for 5 more minutes until water gets evaporated and thick gravy is formed.

Now curry is ready. Take it to a bowl and garnish it with lemon and curry leaves. So the country chicken is ready to serve.
