  • 1.00 nos Onion
  • 0.50 nos Garlic
  • 1.00 tbsp Ginger
  • 5.00 tbsp Chili
  • 1.00 nos Tomato
  • 0.25 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 0.50 tbsp Salt
  • 0.25 tbsp Turmeric
  • 0.25 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 0.50 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 4.00 tbsp Oil

  • Chop the onion Grate the ginger Chop the tomatoes Slit the green chili. Finely chop the coriander leaves.

  • Wash the tangri or the paya very well and clean it. Make the tangri of uniform size so that it is boiled and blended uniformly.

  • Set aside the turmeric powder Grind the black pepper Set aside the red chili powder and salt for adding to the spice.

  • Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker for 1 minute atleast so that atleast the oil is heated very well to fry the spices.

  • Add the onion, green chili, finger and garlic to the hot oil Add a pinch of salt and fry till they are golden brown.

  • To the mixture above add the black pepper powder and stir very well so that all the ingredients are mashed and mix thoroughly.

  • Add 3 cups of water in the pressure cooker and bring it to boil . Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook it for 15 minutes. Once done serve it in a soup bow garnished with coriander leaves.
