STEP : 1
Chop the onion Grate the ginger Chop the tomatoes Slit the green chili. Finely chop the coriander leaves.

Wash the tangri or the paya very well and clean it. Make the tangri of uniform size so that it is boiled and blended uniformly.

Set aside the turmeric powder Grind the black pepper Set aside the red chili powder and salt for adding to the spice.

Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker for 1 minute atleast so that atleast the oil is heated very well to fry the spices.

Add the onion, green chili, finger and garlic to the hot oil Add a pinch of salt and fry till they are golden brown.

To the mixture above add the black pepper powder and stir very well so that all the ingredients are mashed and mix thoroughly.

To the mixture above add the tomato and fry them till it softens and add the tangroi or the paya to the pressure cooker.
STEP : 8
Add the red chili powder and remianing salt and mix very well and stir the ingredients in the pressure cooker.

Add 3 cups of water in the pressure cooker and bring it to boil . Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook it for 15 minutes. Once done serve it in a soup bow garnished with coriander leaves.
