Mutton kadai is a delicacy and spicy. This is a traditional south indian style recipe. It is used for lunch or dinner time. It is very quick and easy to prepare at homemade.
Ingredients
Mutton Kadai
- 2.00 nos Onion
- 3.00 nos Garlic Flakes
- 1.00 nos Ginger one inch
- 0.50 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 3.00 nos Red Chilly
- 1.00 nos Green Cardamom
- 6.00 nos Cloves
- 0.50 tbsp Black Pepper
- 1.00 tbsp Star Anise
- 0.50 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 2.50 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 0.50 tbsp Fennel Seeds
- 3.00 nos Cinnamon Stick
Instructions
Mutton Kadai
- Take all the ingredients as shown in the picture, heat a pan, add little oil and fry the ingredients till you get a nice aroma and grind to paste.
- In a cooker, add 1 KG Mutton ( Cut & Clean), 1 Lemon Juice, œ teaspoon Turmeric Powder, 3 Cloves, 2 Cinnamon stick, 2 Green Cardamom, 1 sliced onion, 1 sliced tomato, 5 bay leaves, salt to taste. Mix all these well and cook it till you get 10 whistles in a cooker. Then keep it aside.
- Take a vessel, add both cooked meat from the cooker and grinded masala and mix it well. Cook it for 15 minutes or cook it until the gravy becomes thick.
- Garnish it with Capsicum & coriander leaves. Special Mutton Kadai can be served with Naan, roti, Chapati, Dosa, Rice etc.
