STEP : 1
Take the button mushrooms and wash them very well under a running tap. Clean it very well by rubbing them and let it dry for some time.

Take the mushroom washed in step 1 and slice it in the vertical direction to create a bisection of the vegetable Now wash the cut pieces also well.

Chop the onion Chop the garlic into thin long slices Slit the green chili Chop the capsicum into big square pieces Grate the tomatoes to form a thick tomato puree Chop the coriander leaves for garnishing.

Heat oil in a kadai and add the sliced mushroom in it. Sprinkle some salt and deep fry the mushroom till it is softened.

Drain the excess oil and set aside the mushroom in a bowl to be used for cooking later in the gravy.

Heat oil in a kadai Add the onion, green chili and garlic and deep fry them till golden brown.

To the mixture above add the grated tomato. Add salt and sugar and stir and mix very well. Let the tomato cook for 2-3 minutes.

To the mixture above add the sliced capsicum and fry them well Add the turmeric and mix it well.

Add the fried mushroom to the masala and mix it very well. Cook for 2-3 minutes and stir continuously so that it does stick to the base of the kadai.

Add 2 cups of water to the mixture and cook it for 10 minutes till the water drains off. It is ready to be served with garnishing by coriander.
