Munthiri kothu is a traditional sweet recipe specially made in festivals , it is a famous south indian sweet mainly in kanyakumari and nagercoil and also in kerala , it is deep fry snack recipe , the alternative names are green moong jaggery balls, chittu urundai sweet.

Ingredients of urundai preparation

1.00 cup Green gram dal
0.50 no Dry ginger
4.00 no Green cardamoms
1.00 cup Grated coconut
1.00 cup Jaggery

Ingredients of Maida preparation

1.00 cup Rice flour
2.00 tbsp Maida
0.50 tbsp Turmeric powder
0.25 tbsp Salt
0.50 cup Water
0.25 liter Oil

Urundai Preparation

The key ingredients to prepare munthiri kothu , we need whole green gram, jaggery, rice flour, maida, cardamoms, sukku powder turmeric powder , grated coconut and oil for deep fry.
