STEP : 1
cut and wash the tiny morola maach properly and marinate it with turmeric powder and salt and keep aside for sometime.

wash the banana leaf throughly and cut into two half and after greesing with little oil roast each half on low flame for 1 minute constantly turning its side on flame.

next make a thick paste with white and black rai (mustered seed), salt and green chili on a mixer grinder with the help of little water
STEP : 4
make the coconut grated and crushed into smallest and finest pieces so that it taste smooth and mix well with the steamed fishes
STEP : 5
then mix the marinated fishes with the mustered paste, grated coconut, salt , turmeric powder ,green chili and sugar all together
STEP : 6
next put small portion of these marinated fishes on the greesed side of the toasted banana leaf and top up with mustered oil and chili

then make a pocket with this marinated fish filled banana leaf and tie with a thread tightly so that it can not open up easily
STEP : 8
put a steamer fill with water and when the water start boiling place the fish filled banana leaf pockets on it and cover the lid
STEP : 9
you have to wait for atleast 10 minutes and then check whether the colour of the banana leaf turn little dull. it means the recipe is ready.

then open up the banana leaf pockets carefully and serve the steamed fish with hot rice garnish with tomato slice and green chili.
