The preparation and cleaning of mourola fish is easy in compare to other fishes. This little fish also have very less bones that’s way it is easy and delicious to eat. In Bengali curry means jhal and mourola macher jhal is served with steamed rice.

Ingredients of Mourola macher jhal

0.25 kg Mourola fish
8.00 tbsp mustard oil
1.00 no onion
1.00 no tomato
1.00 tbsp grated ginger
4.00 no green chili
4.00 tbsp coriander leaves
0.25 tbsp turmeric powder
0.25 tbsp salt
1.00 no lemon

Mourola macher jhal

Wash mourola fish at least 4 – 5 times. Then marinate it with half teaspoon of turmeric powder and pinch of salt. Keep it a side for 10 minutes.
