Ingredients of Mochar ghonto
STEP : 1
Chopped the banana flower ( mocha ) into small pieces and soak it in turmeric powder for sometime so that its bitterness reduced.
STEP : 2
Put a kadai on the flame, add oil to heat. Then add pieces of shrimps and potato in it and fry till golden and keep aside.
STEP : 3
Now in that same pan add little more oil, heat it, then add bay leaf, whole garam masala, tomato one by one.

Then add green chili, ginger paste, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar in it and cook it until the masala release oil.
STEP : 5
Add hand smashed chopped mocha in it, and cook it in low flame until the raw flavour of mocha gone and quantity reduced. if required put lid on kadai so it soften easily.

Lastly add fried shrimps, potato, ghee and garam masala in it and give it a mixing so that all the ingredients mixed together.
STEP : 7
Garnish it with green chili and tomato slice and your spicy mochar ghonto is ready to serve with hot rice.
