Ingredients of Millet porridge
STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare pearl millet porridge ,we need kambu,cholam,onions,green chilli,ginger ,cumin seeds,curry leaves ,curd,oil and salt.

Initially measure 1 cup of pearl millet or kambu and pour in a seperate bowl.
STEP : 3
Take a cup of cholam and pour along with that pearl millet and it is optional .

Now pour a little amount of water, say around 1/4 cup and leave it for 5 minutes.

Now rub it with your hands and strain it using hands to remove any stones then add in a blender.

Blend it like rava consistency, but you can just crush it little then transfer it.

Add three cups of water and let it soak for one and half hour ,keep aside.

After one and half hour,turn on the flame place a vessel and add the soaked batter.

Turn off the flame when the batter runny at the stage as soon it will get thick.

Take a cup of left over rice or fresh cooked rice in a blender jar.

Blend it like smooth consistency, by adding little amount of water then blend few seconds.

Transfer the blended rice batter along with the thick kambu and mix it by adding water.

Take a earthern wear pot then add the mixed koozh by adding three cups water

Again take a blender ,add two tablespoon of curd ,you can use butter milk too.

Add a single broken chilli and very small part of ginger along with the curd.

Add half tablespoon of cumin seeds or jeera for easy digestion along with the curd.

Blend it few seconds till the ingredients nicely blend with the curd then add it.

Add a cup of crunched shallot onions along with the koozh then mix it nicely.

Finally add a tablespoon of salt or rock salt then mix it completely ,our porridge is ready.
