STEP : 1
Take the chicken cubes and make sure they are all of uniform size. Wash them very well under running water.

Marinate the chicken in a refrigerator atleast for 1 hour with curd, salt and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients well.

Chop the onion into thin long slices. Wash the curry leaves. Chop the tomatoes into small cubes. Make a paste out of the garlic cloves. Make a thick coconut milk by boiling the coconut paste in water.

Heat oil in a kadai and add the methi ( fenugreek seeds ) and fry them till they are turned slightly darker in color.

Add the chopped onion to the kadai and fry them well till they turn pinkish and become slightly softened and is cooked.

Add the tomato to the kadai and cook it till the tomato softens and melts in the oil and mixes with the onion.

Add the green chili and the marinated chicken cubes to the oil and fry them well till the chicken is mixed with the onion and tomato. Then add the garlic paste and mix well.

Add the washed and cleaned curry leaves to the kadai and fry them and mix them well with the rest of the contents.

Keep on stirring and add the coconut milk to the kadai and let the chicken cook in the coconut milk so that it becomes tender. Serve when the watery content is all dried up, topped with a fried red chili.
