Ingredients of Meen peera
STEP : 1
At the first step clean the fish well and then marinate it using little salt, turmeric powder and chilly powder for ten minutes.

then put a mud plate or manchatty on flame and pour some water to cook fish, put some chilly powder and turmeric powder to it.

then let it boil , when it starts boiling put the marinated fish to it and then close the mud plate.

put black kokum to it, then after five minutes open the mud plate and check the fish is cooked or not,

mean while take a blender or grinder and put coconut, cumin seeds and turmeric powder to it, then grind it well.

when fish is cooked off the flame , put the grind mix of coconut to the cooked fish and then again on the flame.

it should be low flame ,we not added any oil to it, if you need oil you can add, then mix it well.

pour some water if needed and mix again ,let it cooked for five more minutes in low flame and close it.

then heat a kadai or pan and put some oil to it, when its hot add shallots and curry leaves to it, stir it well and when it is brawn put this to the cooked fish.

Then off both the flame and mix every thing well, then add salt and oil to it if needed (as per your taste )

our dish called kunji kozhuva thenga peera is ready to serve , serve it hot along with white rice or chappathi.
