STEP : 1
At first step fry the fish in oil no need of deep fry we need just a shallow fry , I used salt , pepper and turmeric powder for marination .

Let it cool and mean while saute some onion, ginger and green chilly in the same pan , take flesh out from the fish .

Then pour the flesh of fish to the onion mix and saute it well for about two to five minutes, then off the flame .

Let it cool , then take a plate and pour about one cup of rice flour and salt to it mix it well .

Pour some cumin seeds to it and add water little by little to it and knead it well , make a dough .

Then take a vazhayila or banana leaf and keep it on low flame just to change its colour and texture .

Take a little from the dough and place on the leaf then make it to thin and flatten shape using your hand .

Then put some of the fish masala or mix to the flatten shaped dough and then close it as oval shape or as per your choice .

Then close the banana leaf by keeping the dough mix inside it should be covered fully you can use tooth pick to make it locked ,then keep it on a steamer . Do same with the rest .

Then close the steamer and wait for about fifteen to twenty minutes and when it is done off the steamer .

Then take it out and remove the vazhaila before you going to have . Enjoy your dish along with chutney or sauce .
