kulfi comes under desert and is a type of ice cream. small children as well as elders both love to have it. it is made of milk so rich in proteins and elaichi or kesar (saffron) are added for the flavour.

Ingredients of Mawa kulfi

0.50 liter Milk
1.00 tbsp Maida
0.50 cup Sugar
0.25 kg Mawa
7.00 no Saffron
0.25 tbsp Elaichi powder

Mawa kulfi

Take a non stick pan and add half liter of milk in it and keep it to the boil.stir it continuous with a spatula.

Now add the paste of maida and water in the boiled milk and mix it well.cook it for 1-2 minutes without any lumps in it.

Now add sugar, saffron, elaichi powder, mawa / khowa and cook it for one more minute and let it becomes cool

Now grind the mixture in mixer grinder and pour it in the kulfi mold and if mould is not present then pour it in other vessel and keep it in freezer.

After 3-4 hours remove the vessel and cut it into pieces and put it on the plate and sprinkle pieces dry fruits on it as garnishing.
