Matti varathathu is a famous fish fry in kerala.It is a very tasty fry and probably most famous fish fry in kerala.This fish is also used to prepare curry also.It is used as a special fish fry with rice and kappa(tapioca).

Ingredients of Mathi fry

0.25 kg sardinefish
2.00 no garlic
4.00 no pepper
2.50 tbsp chillypowder
0.25 tbsp turmericpowder
0.50 tbsp salt
2.00 tbsp oil

Take some sardine fish and wash it properly in fresh water.cut it's head and tail with a sharp knife,Transfer it to a plate.
