  • 2 .00 nos Onion
  • 3.00 nos Tomato
  • 0.75 tbsp Ginger Slices
  • 5.00 nos Garlic Cloves
  • 1.00 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 2.00 nos Cloves
  • 2.00 nos Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1.00 nos Bay Leaf
  • 0.50 tbsp Fennel Seeds
  • 2 .00 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 0.25 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 0.25 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 3.00 tbsp Ghee Or Oil
  • 0.75 tbsp Salt
  • 0.50 tbsp Kasuri Methi
  • 0.50 tbsp Coriander Leaves

  • Wash and chop two onions and three tomatoes and some ginger into thin slices and peel some garlic pods.

  • Then peel off some green peas into the beans,or you may use frozen or dried peas.

  • Take a mixer jar add the chopped onion,thin sliced tomatoes and chopped ginger and garlic with them.

  • Grind the added ingredients into fine and thick paste,do not add any water the juice in tomato is enough.

  • Heat a pan melt some butter or ghee or oil,add those garam masala ingredients such as cloves,cinnamon sticks,fennel seeds and bay leaf.

  • Then add the grounded onion tomato ginger garlic paste with them and stir well till the raw smells out.

  • Then add enough red chilly powder,cumin powder,turmeric powder and little garam masala powder with them,mix them well.

  • Stir well the added ingredients till the raw smell goes out,and the added oil ooze outs.

  • Then add the well cleaned and fresh green peas with them and stir well for few seconds.

  • Then add some water and enough salt for them,addition of water is about the quantity of gravy you needs.

  • Cover the lid and brings to boil for five to seven minutes till the green peas are boiled and the gravy comes to tender.

  • When the curry comes to tender now add the pinch of kasuri methi which gives good flavor to this recipe.

  • Then add one tbsp of fresh cream on them or you may use cashew nuts paste also for thick gravy.

  • Then remove from the flame and garnish some coriander leaves and serve hot with Chapathi or with rice.
