Mango sheera is a tasty dessert recipe which is prepared using tangy and delicious mangoes,this recipe can also prepared as various versions,but here i used to prepared this mango sheera using sooji rava,it can be made easily with simple ingredients,the flavor of mango gives tangy taste to this recipe.
Mango Halwa -Easy And Quick Dessert Mango Halwa Recipe
Mango halwa is a delicious and sweet recipe. This is famous south Indian recipe and made specially during at festivals. It is very easy to prepare at home. Everyone like to eat this recipe.
Ingredients
Mango Halwa
- 1.00 cup Rava
- 1.00 nos Mango
- 0.75 cup Sugar
- 1.00 nos Cardamom
- 6.00 nos Cashew Nuts
- 4.00 nos Raisins
- 0.25 tbsp Kesari Color
- 2.00 cup Milk
- 2.00 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
Mango Halwa
- Heat a pan add two tbsp of ghee and add some cashew nuts and raisins and roast them for few seconds and transfer them to a plate.
- In that same pan there is some remaining ghee,now add a cup of sooji rava into them.
- Roast the added sooji rava for few minutes till the raw smells out and light golden brown color obtains,now transfer the rave to a plate let them cool.
- In that same pan add two cups of milk and bring them to boil without adding any water with them,you may use water instead of milk,when it starts boiling add enough sugar for this recipe.
- When the sugar dissolves completely now add very little pinch of yellow kesar color,you may skip this step.
- At this mean while,wash and scrape out the outer skin of mangoes and slice them into small cubes and add it to the mixer jar.
- Blend the chopped mango slices as fine paste,you may add a few drops of milk for fine puree,d[o not add water.
- Now the milk is well boiled and then add the roasted sooji rava into them and stir well without any lumps formation,on.
- Then add freshly prepared mango puree with them and stir well until all the ingredients are mixed well without any lumps.
- When it comes to halwa consistency add some crushed green cardamom,and roasted cashew nuts and raisins give simple stir and serve hot by well garnishing with your optional fruits and nuts.
