Ingredients
  

Mango Date Chutney

  • 0.25 kg MangoBar
  • 1.00 cup Dates
  • 0.25 tbsp MustardSeed
  • 1.00 nos RedChili
  • 0.25 tbsp Salt
  • 1.00 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

Mango Date Chutney

  • Cut the Aam sotto or mango papad into cubes (small sized) – De seed the dates and wash all of them so that they are clean
  • Put 1 cup of water in a small pressure cooker and mix the dates and mango bar so that it can be boiled and it melts to reach a consistent thickness.
  • After boiling in the pressure cooker open the lid and mash the contents very well so that it is uniformly thick
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add the mustard seeds and red chili. – Fry them till the mustard is black and the chili turns brown
  • Add the mixture prepared in step 3 to the kadai and stir continuously – Add a pinch of salt and mix well
  • Add 3 cups of water to the mixture above and bring it to boil. – Cook till the water starts drying and the gravy is thickened. – Stir continuously.
