Manchow soup is a popular Indian chinese cuisine though it is familiar in all star hotels all around the world. It has an intense chinese flavour with chineses sauces and is one of the best soup recipes. 

When I have this soup from any hotels, I always wonder whether it is possible to make it at home. Surprisingly yes, you can make this manchow soup just in restaurant style at home.

You can make both vegetable manchow soup and chicken manchow soup as per your preference. How nice it will be if you can make your own soup recipe for your guests at a home party. 

Trust me, you will feel enthusiastic if you cook in your own hands for your guests. I usually prefer homemade foods from soup to dessert for any of my home get togethers and parties. 

Manchow soup ingredients

The ingredients for making manchow soup is quite lengthy though you can find everything in your nearby supermarkets. 

Vegetables which I am mentioning for the recipe are all mandatory to get the real restaurant taste of the manchow soup. So try not to skip any veggies. 

Am using soy sauce in this recipe, try using dark soy sauce to get the real colour of manchow soup. In normal soups we add croutons for the crispness to get in each sip. 

In manchow soup we have to fry the noodles and add for some crunchy taste. 

You can use any thin noodle variety for making the process. Make sure to fry the noodles well to avoid stomach upsets and less crunchy taste. 

Do not skip adding cornflour to the soup, as this contains only vegetable stock and so cornflour is the only thickening agent we are getting.

Goodness of manchow soup

During rainy days, when you need something to relieve the cold climate consume a bowl of manchow soup. This manchow soup is good for weight loss too. Even pregnant ladies can consume this healthy manchow soup. 

I sometimes make manchow soup noodles at home, which is very simple. Just add a bowl of boiled noodles into the soup and give it a quick boil. That’s it a tasty dinner will be ready.

Ingredients of Manchow soup

1.00 no Cabbage
2.00 no Carrot
3.00 no Onion
2.00 no Tomato
1.00 no Capsicum
5.00 no Green Mirchi
4.00 no Beans
7.00 no Garlic Leaves
0.50 no Ginger
1.00 no Lemon
1.00 cup Vegetable Oil
1.00 cup Noodles
2.00 tbsp Salt
1.00 tbsp Black Peeper
0.50 cup Corn Flour
1.25 tbsp Soya Sauce
4.00 cup Water

Manchow soup

First take 2 onion, 2 carrots, small cabbage, 2 tomato, 5 - 6 beans, 5 – 6 green mirchi, small piece of ginger, 7 – 8 garlic, 1 capsicum, 1 lemon into a plate.

STEP : 1

Now chop onion, garlic, ginger, capsicum, carrot, green mirchi, cabbage, tomato into fine pieces into the plate. Take out lemon juice.

STEP : 2

Now take the Noodles of medium thickness and make the medium sized pieces of the Noodles in a plate. Wheat noodles can also be use.

Now take 2 cup of vegetable Oil into the Wok or Pan and put it on the gas stove at medium flame. Let it be heat.

After proper heating of Oil make the stove flame slow and put the Noodles into the hot oil and fry all the Noodles at the low flame.

Fry the noodles properly up to it gets light brown color. Here the Noodles should not be burn out. For that rotate them while frying with spoon.

After proper frying of the Noodles take out it after proper removing of oil and put into a plate and keep a side.

Now take out 1 cup of used oil and remain 1 cup oil into the Wok or Pan. Heat properly it at medium flame.

Now add the finely chopped Garlic and Ginger into the hot oil and saute them properly at low flame for few seconds.

Mix the whole content properly with the spoon and saute the Onion properly up to 2 minutes at low flame. It should not be burn out.

Now finally check the taste of preparation and add salt, lemon juice, black pepper and soya sauce if require. If need more thickness then add slurry of corn starch. Boil the content for 2 – 3 minutes at medium flame .

Fantabulous recipe ! 🤩 I love this soup very much especially the colour along with the flavour. Although I am foodie but I don't cook much.
