  • 1.50 cup manathakkali kai
  • 7.00 nos small onions
  • 1.00 nos tomato
  • 3.00 nos cloves garlic
  • 1.00 gram sized tamarind
  • 5.00 nos curry leaves few
  • 1.25 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1.75 tbsp chilly powder
  • 1.50 tbsp coriander power
  • 1.00 tbsp Salt
  • 1.00 cup Water
  • 1.25 tbsp small mustard
  • 4.00 tbsp oil
  • 1.00 tbsp coriander leaves few

  • Take Manathakkali kai and clean,remove the stem part and wash the manthakkali kai before making the thokku.

  • Take the ingredients cloves garlic 3,onions 7 chopped,tomato 1 chopped for making manthakkali kai thokku.

  • Take soak the tamarind in water for for 2 mins and take the tamarind water separately.

  • Heat the oil in a pan and than add the mustard seeds let it splutters.

  • Add the garlic,onions,few curry leaves and cook for a min on low flame.Until the colour changes.

  • Add the chopped tomato in the pan let it cook for 2-3 mins keep it in low flame.
