STEP : 1
Take Manathakkali kai and clean,remove the stem part and wash the manthakkali kai before making the thokku.

STEP : 2
Take the ingredients cloves garlic 3,onions 7 chopped,tomato 1 chopped for making manthakkali kai thokku.

STEP : 3
Take soak the tamarind in water for for 2 mins and take the tamarind water separately.

Heat the oil in a pan and than add the mustard seeds let it splutters.

Add the garlic,onions,few curry leaves and cook for a min on low flame.Until the colour changes.

Add the chopped tomato in the pan let it cook for 2-3 mins keep it in low flame.

Add turmeric powder,turmeric powder,chili powder,coriander powder and than mix it all wait for 1 mins.

Now add the manathakkali kai and saute for 1 mins on low flame until the colour changes .

Now add 1 cup of water and than Salt to taste than keep it for 5 mins.

Now Add the tamarind juice let it cook for 4-5 mins keep it in low flame.

STEP : 11
Now bring the water to be boil ,let it cook for 8-10 mins keep it in low flame.

When it boils on low flame until oil separates.than add coriander leaves to the thokku.

STEP : 13
Now you can Serve the Manthakkali kai thokku with Idly ,rice.it will be tasty to have.
