STEP : 1
Cut and wash the loote maah into small pieces. Cut tomatoes also into small pieces. Fine chopped medium size onion. Dissect green chili also.
STEP : 2
Turn on flame, put a kadai on it, add mustered oil in it and heat it. Then add chopped onion, dissected green chili, tomato, ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder one after another and keep on stirring until all the masala cooked.

When the masala starts releasing oil from it, add loote maach to it and salt, sugar and put a lid on the kadai so that the fish start release its own juice.
STEP : 4
Take out the lid, now keep stirring fast with force so that the fish do not stick from bottom as in this time fish have to be broken and smashed with sharp spatula and it look like bharta and the juice get start reducing or dry.
STEP : 5
This bharta look alike fish is now start reducing its own juice and getting dry, make it dry as per your choice as some like it little moist and other like it complete dry.
STEP : 6
Garnish it with tomato slice, dissected green chili, one coriander string and serve it with hot rice as side dish.
