This is a very easy recipe to make a spicy, tangy and delicious tasting lemon pickle. The pickle can be stored easily in a jar for a long time. It goes well with any rice dish or chapatis and rotis.

Ingredients of Lemon Pickle

10.00 gram Green Chilly
5.00 tbsp Oil
3.00 tbsp Sugar
2.50 tbsp Rock Salt
10.00 no Red Chilly
1.00 tbsp Mustard
0.25 tbsp Asofoetida
0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
0.25 tbsp Methi

Lemon Pickle

Dry roast the red chilies, half tablespoon mustard and methi. Add turmeric and asafoetida and grind into a fine powder as shown. Keep the pickle powder aside fro later use.

Heat the oil in a pan. Add the remaining mustard. When the mustard splutters add the chopped ginger and green chilies. Keep frying on a low flame until you get a pleasant aroma.
