Lauki Pakora – Crunchy And Healthy Lauki Pakora Recipe At Home
lauki pakora recipe is a quick and easy snacks for evening snack time along with ketchup and cup of hot tea.Here i used to cook the fritters recipe specially for kids.
Ingredients
Lauki Pakora
- 0.25 kg Bottle Gourd
- 3.00 tbsp Besan Flour
- 2.00 tbsp Rice Flour
- 0.25 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 0.5 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Pepper Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Hing
- 0.5 tbsp Salt
- 2.00 cup Oil
Instructions
Lauki Pakora
- Wash and scrape out the skin of bottle gourd,then slice them as thin round layers using a knife or slicer.
- Take a mixing bowl add three tbsp of (Bengal gram flour)besan flour and two tbsp of rice flour.
- Then add all the spice powder ingredients such as red chilly powder,pepper powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,salt and hing with them and mix them well.
- Then add little water slowly and slowly with them and mix well without any lumps.
- Be sure that the prepared batter is nor to be thick neither watery,it should be moderate.
- Heat a frying pan add two cups of oil for deep frying,brings to hot in medium flame.
- When the oil gets hot,now take one sliced bottle gourd layer dip into the prepared batter and coat the batter on both sides.
- Place over the coated Bottle gourd layer to that hot oil,repeat the same for all Fritters.
- Deep fry the Bottle gourd layers on both sides till it gets well cooked and comes to crispy.
- When the Bottle gourd pakora is well boiled with its amazing golden color,now remove from the pan and serve hot with tasty chutney or sauce with a hot sip of tea or coffee.
