Ingredients of Lauki halwa
STEP : 1
Take the long melon which is the main ingredient and cut it to small pieces and peel of the skin from it with the help of peeler.

Take a bowl contains fresh water and clean the long melon with the help of water for some time in the bowl.

Now take it out from the water and take a chopped machine and chop well the long melon in to fine pieces.

Collect this chopped long melon in to one plate and kept it aside which is used for the further preparation process.

Take one bowl and add the milk of 1 cup to it and boil the milk until a layer is formed on the milk.

Now take a net and pour that milk in it in order to avoid getting of the butter layer from the milk.

Take a pan add long melon pieces in to it and made it fry in the pan in a low flame and after that take it out.

In the same pan add the milk which we purified with the net to the pan and boil well in a medium flame.

Take one large spoon and stir the milk in the medium flame without forming any layer on the milk for some time.

After that add the baking salt which can be used in all sweets for the taste purpose in the milk and mix well.

After the milk gets boil add the fried long melon in to the milk and boil it in the medium flame.

Stir well without stopping it in the pan in the medium flame only until the long melon will cook in the milk.

Take the cardamom of two no and which will be used for the preparation of this halva in a tasty way.

Take this it in to the bowl and smash it finely with a smasher gently and slowly in the bowl only.

We can see that the seeds in the cardamom will come to outside and also we made them into pieces also.

In the mean while we can see that the long melon is cooked in the milk and add some 1/2 cup of sugar to it and mix well.

Add some table spoon of ghee to it and mix well in the pan for some time in a low flame.

Add the fried raisins in the ghee of 1/2 table spoon to it and mix well in the paste in the pan.

Also add the cashews of 4 no to the prepares sweet and mix well all of them in the pan in a low flame.

Before putting off the stove add some pinch of cardamom powder to it and mix well and take in to the serving bowl.
