Lauki dal is one of the famous indian dish. Bottle gourd is rich in dietary fibre, It is also easy to digest and It promotes weight loss.

- 1.25 cup Chane ki dal
- 1.00 nos Bottle gourd
- 1.25 cup Oil
- 1.25 cup Tamarind
- 4.00 nos Tomato
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 1.25 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1.25 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1.25 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1.25 tbsp Salt
- 1.25 tbsp Garam masala powder
- 4.00 nos Green chillis
- 1.25 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1.25 tbsp Curry leaves
Instructions
Lauki Dal
- These are the 14 ingredients required to make the bottle gourd dalcha and it is the home Available ingredients
- Take the chane ki dal (Bengal gram) in the pressure cooker and Wash it one time
- After washing the chane ki dal you need to pour one glass of water for further process
- Next you need to add the green chillies in the chane ki dal for further process
- Next add the half table spoon of ginger garlic paste in the pressure cooker for the further process .
- Next put the half table spoon of turmeric powder in the pressure cooker for further process
- After adding the ingredients now you need to keep on the pressure cooker on the stove and it should cook till 4 whistles
- Next take the tamarind in the bowl and put the water and soak it for further process
- Next you need to peel off the bottle gourd (Kaddu) and cut the bottle gourd in the slices and remove the seeds from it
- Now make the small pieces of bottle gourd like a diamond shape or small pieces
- Next you need to chopped the tomatoes and sliced the onions and put aside .
- Now take the another cooking utensil and put on the stove and heat it after that put the oil in it.
- After heating the oil now put the sliced onions in it and cook it for further process
- Next add one table spoon of ginger garlic paste in the Cooking utensil and mix it well
- Next add one big table spoon of salt as per the taste in the Cooking utensil for further process
- Now add the half table spoon of turmeric powder in the Cooking utensil for further process.
- Now add one table spoon of red chilli powder in the Cooking utensil and mix it well for further process
- Now add the above made chopped tomatoes in the Cooking utensil for further process .
- After putting the chopped tomatoes you need to mix it well for the further process
- After putting tomatoes you need to cook till 5 minutes till the tomatoes cook well and it becomes like a paste
- Next you need to put the above made pieces of bottle gourd in the Cooking utensil
- After putting bottle gourd pieces in the Cooking utensil you need to mix it well for further process
- After mixing pour half glass of water in the Cooking utensil to cook the bottle gourd (kaddu) for 7 to 8 minutes
- Till the bottle gourd cook’s open the pressure cooker and add one table spoon of salt in the cooked chane ki dal.
- Next you need to grate the chane ki dal with the help of dal ghotni with the hand
- Now you need to make the tamarind juice in the bowl, put the water and take out the juice of tamarind for further process
- Now check the above made mixture of bottle gourd is cooked well or not in the Cooking utensil,the bottle gourd should be cooked well and then stir and mix well
- After the bottle gourd cooked you need to add the grated dal in the Cooking utensil and mix it well for further process
- After putting grated dal now you need to put the above made tamarind juice in the Cooking utensil and mix well and it should cook till 5 minutes
- After cooking well now you need to add the coriander leaves in the Cooking utensil for further process
- Next add some curry leaves in the Cooking dal in the Cooking utensil for further process
- Next you need to add half table spoon of the garam masala powder in the Cooking utensil which is made with the cloves, caraway seeds, and Cinnamon and cardamom seeds
- After adding all the ingredients now you need to put the above plate of cooking utensil upon it and it should cook till 5 to 7 minutes
- Now the bottle gourd dalcha is ready to serve to the people you can enjoy by eating it .
