STEP : 1
Take all the ingredients and keep it ready chopped onion into long pieces and cut the kovakkai into a circle pieces otherwise you can cut this as Long pieces also

STEP : 2
Keep the pan over the store and add oil to it once the oil get heated and mustard seeds and cumin seeds and then add Bengal gram to it and fry it nicely

STEP : 3
Once the Bengal gram tuened Golden brown then and chopped onion to it and fry it nicely in the oil still it is like a golden brown in colour

STEP : 4
And then add green chillies to the pan and fry it nicely after that add chopped tomatoes to the pan and fry it nicely till the oil separates from it

STEP : 5
Once the oil separated from the tomato then add the chopped kovakkai to the pan and mix it nicely for about 5 minutes and then add little water to it and add adequate salt and close it with the lid

STEP : 6
Finally add red chilli powder and coconut powder to it and mix it nicely and change it to a serving bowl and serve hot your meal
