Ingredients of Kovakkai chutney
STEP : 1
first you need to take the ingredients Kovakkai , small onion , asafoetida powder, salt , red chilies.

Now you need to Heat the oil in a pan and keep it in low flame.

Now you need to add Urad dal in a pan and keep it in low flame.
STEP : 4
Now you need to chop the onion , tomato , Kovakkai and keep it aside.

Now you need to add the chopped onion into the pan wait for 2 sec.

Now you need to put dry red chillies into the pan wait for 1 sec.

Now you need to add the chopped kovakkai into the pan wait for 3 sec.

Now you need to add the chopped tomato into the pan wait for 2 sec.

Now you need to add the salt to taste into the pan than mix it well.

Now you need to transfer every thing in a plate or bowl .Let it cool down.

Now you need to Grind every thing into a smooth paste by adding water.Grind it.

Now you need to get the chutney consistency and It should be like this.don"t add more water.

Now you need to heat a pan and put oil into the pan.wait for 1 mins.

Now you need to put mustard seeds and curry leaves into the pan.wit for 1 sec.

Now you need to add the Asafoetida powder into the pan than switch off the flame.

Now you need to Pour the tempering into the bowl of chutney. Mix it well.
