Ingredients of Kosha mangsho
STEP : 1
Wash the raw goat meat with warm water at least for 4 -5 times. Take 8 9 garlic cloves and chopped ginger and a cup of fresh curd. Marinate meat with curd, paste of ginger and garlic, 2 tablespoon of mustard oil and salt as require.
STEP : 2
Keep the marinated meat at least for 2 hours. Make a separate paste of tomato, onion, ginger and garlic. Peel the skin of potato and cut it into half.

Heat mustard oil in a non-stick pan, add a pinch of sugar and sauté it in a low flame until the colour of sugar turn brown. After that add 2 bay leaves, 2 cardamom, 2 cloves and cinnamon stick.

After adding garam masala, add the paste of onion, tomato, ginger and garlic and sauté it until oil get start separated from the masala. Then add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and red chilli powder, sauté it for 2 minutes.

Now add the marinated meat reduce the flame to low. Mix well with masala and cover it with a lid. Stir it continuously until the excess water get evaporate from it.

Add 2 3 green chilis and mix it with masala. When complete water gets evaporate and oil get start separate from the side of meat gravy. Add the chopped potatoes.

Now add 1 cup of water so the meat get cook completely. Cover it with a lid and cook it for half an hour on a low flame. if you like more gravy you can add little more water.
STEP : 8
Remove the lid and add 1 tablespoon of ghee and garam masala powder, mix it and turn off the flame. Transfer the prepared Kosha Mangsho to a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves.
