This is a dish using squid , it's my own recipe and it's really tasty . It is good along with rice , chappathi, porrotta and many dishes . My family love squid and I really enjoy seeing them eat this dish happily .

Ingredients of Koonthal roast

0.50 kg squid
1.00 tbsp ginger
1.00 tbsp garlic
0.25 cup corianderleaves
0.25 cup pudinaleaves
1.00 no onion
1.00 no tomato
4.00 no greenchilly
0.25 tbsp turmericowder
0.25 tbsp corianderpowder
0.25 tbsp salt
1.00 tbsp oil

At first take the squid to clean in a plate or bowl ( never use scissors or knife to clean squid ) .

Take a blender or mixer and put peeled ginger ;garlic ;green chillies ; pudina leaves and coriander leaves to it .

Grind it well and make a smooth paste ;then add chopped tomato to it and again grind it ;no need of water .

Then heat a pan or kadai pour oil to it and when it is hot add chopped onion to it .

After ten minutes of cooking I seen my squid is shrinked and oil is separated so off the flame and put some spring onion or coriander leaves on it .
