Heat oil In a kadai add 1spoon mustard seeds after spluttering mustard seeds add chopped onions.
STEP : 2
Fry the chopped onions till they are transulcent. low the flame and till that time we can grind these ingredients.

For making masala you have to add these ingredients and coconut to the mixer grinder.

Grind coconut, roasted red chillies, tamarind and coriander seeds with little water to make thin paste.

when the onions are translucent now you can add this ground paste to the onion.

now you can add little water and salt as per taste to cook onion butti receipe.

Mix well .The Onion Butti is now ready to be served along with meals.It also goes well with chapatis
