Kollu chutney is one of the tasty and healthy ancient recipe prepared with Horse gram. This is good for weight loss people and lowers cholesterol, diabetic patients are also have this chutney. Having this chutney with hot White rice and sesame oil combination.

Ingredients of Kollu chutney

0.75 cup Horse gram
1.00 cup Onion
0.50 cup Tomato
4.00 no Red Chili
1.00 tbsp Mustard Seeds
1.00 tbsp Split Urad Dal
1.00 tbsp Bengal gram
1.00 tbsp coriander seeds
0.50 tbsp cumin seeds
2.00 no Curry eaves
2.00 no Coriander leaves
5.00 gram Tamarind
1.00 tbsp Salt
2.00 cup water

Kollu chutney

In a pan slightly roast the horse gram with out addition of oil. No need to over fry just heat the horse gram.

Now take freshly chopped curry leaf and coriander leaves, roughly chop and add to it.
