Ingredients of Kinnathappam
STEP : 1
Take the coconut and add a little amount of water to it. Then mix it by using a grinder.

After that separate the milk from it using a sieve . Repeat the step1 and step 2 until all the water finished.

Mix well the rice flour, sugar ,salt and cumin seed in a clean plate using a spoon.
STEP : 4
Pour the coconut milk into the mixture. And make it in the consistency of dosa.

Pour the oil into a steel plate and spread it into all sides. Then pour the mixture.
STEP : 6
Place the plate in a steam vessel. While placing it you should keep it on the center. Otherwise the shape will change.
STEP : 7
Steam it continuously for some time. You can take it out when it changes to a well solid.
STEP : 8
Pour some water in a big plate and keep the plate of kinnathappam into it.Only after cooling you can demount it.
