Khas Khas Ka Halwa
- 0.50 gram poppy seeds
- 0.25 liter milk
- 1.00 cup Shredded coconut
- 0.75 cup Sugar
- 0.25 tbsp Cardamom powder
- 3.00 nos Almonds
- 3.00 nos cashewnuts
- 2.00 tbsp Ghee
- 1.00 tbsp raisins
- 0.25 tbsp Salt
Khas Khas Ka Halwa
- The key ingredients to prepare poppy seeds halwa ,we need poppy seeds, milk,cardamom powder,sugar,ghee, badam,,coconut,cashewnuts,raisins and salt.
- Initially turn on the flame,Place a vessel add 50 grams or cup of poppy seeds.
- When it is dry roasted ,then add a cup of shredded coconut to make dry.
- When both are dry roasted till the aroma comes transfer it in another plate and keep it aside
- Add a cup of water along with the poppy seeds ,let it soak for 4 to 5 hours.
- .Turn on the flame,place a vessel add 250 ml of milk and let it heat for few minutes and turn off the flame.
- After 4 to 5 hours strain the water then add the gasa gasa in a blender.
- Along with add a cup of dry coconut to make both the ingredients a smooth paste.
- Blend it few seconds scrape the edges and add little amount of water in it.
- Now it is blended a fine smooth paste ,to make a smooth paste gasa gasa should be well soaked.
- Turn on the flame,place a non stick pan ,add a tablespoon of ghee in it.
- Add the blended smooth paste in a melted ghee and mix it completely,let it cook.
- Now add the warm milk and stir it completely and scrape the edges in between.
- Add half cup of sugar or as per taste then mix it and scrape all the edges.
- Add a tablespoon or quarter cup of raisins and mix it,You can add any nuts.
- Add few broken cashewnuts and crunched badam along with the mixture and mix it few seconds.
- Add a pinch of salt for blended taste because there is no sweet recipe with out using salt.
- Add crunched two cardamoms or half tablespoon of cardamom powder and mix it continuously for few seconds.
- Turn off the flame and allow to cool for few minutes and transfer it in a serving bowl,our poppy seeds halwa is ready.to serve.
