tamilnadu style hot pongal is the one of the most favorite south indian daily breakfast and it is also used as lunch and it is very good with the combination of sambar or chutney and it is very simple and easy

Ingredients of Khara pongal

1.00 cup Moong dal
2.00 tbsp spices
3.00 tbsp salt
1.00 cup rice
1.00 tbsp ghee
1.00 tbsp chopped green chili
2.00 tbsp jeera
6.00 no cloves
1.00 tbsp pepper
8.00 no curry leaves
10.00 no cashew nuts

Khara pongal

This is one my favourite dish..Many people don't like to eat sweet pongal for them it will be very useful even I too like this pongal I don't like sweet pongal I am damn sure this dish will be the best breakfast and even it can be served for dinner too and also it is easy to prepare and you have presented this dish with sambar that was super even coconut chutney will suits this dish very nicely and thanks for sharing this beautiful recipe with us..May god bless you
