STEP : 1
Firstly pour the milk in a pan and leave it to boil. Use low flame to avoid burning at the bottom.

Take few strands of saffron. After the milk is boiled; pour 3 tsp of boiled hot milk in the saffron to dilute it.

Bring the milk to half the quantity by stirring it occasionally. Add sugar and pieces of pista and badambadam to the hot milk.
STEP : 4
Add saffron milk to the mixture and stir well. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool down at room temperature. Pour it in a pot or mutka or a tumbler.
STEP : 5
Place the mutka or tumbler tightly closed in the fridge for atleast 6 to 8 hrs. Insert an ice cream stick in the tumbler after 2 hrs.
STEP : 6
After 6 hours remove the pot and tumbler and rub between the palms for heating it little to cone off the tumbler. Garnish with pista and saffron. Serve co
