A Traditional South Indian Style Healthy Keerai Masiyal Dish
Keerai masiyal is a delicious and spicy dish. This is a traditional south Indian dish and it is very healthy dish. It is good for health. It will very nutritious and liked to all.
Ingredients
Keerai Masiyal
- 0.25 kg Palak
- 2.00 tbsp Oil
- 0.25 tbsp cumin
- 0.25 tbsp mustard
- 0.50 tbsp red chili powder
- 0.50 tbsp coriander powder
- 0.25 tbsp turmeric
- 0.25 cup water
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
Instructions
Keerai Masiyal
- At first, take out the end of the the palak and use the leaves only and then wash them with the water.
- Then, take the spices in one plate along with the salt and mix all of them together to make one spice.
- Now take the oil in the pan ( preferably the iron pan), and let it gets heat, and then add cumin and mustard to it.
- Then add all the spices to the oil and fry foe few seconds and then add the palak to the pan and mix with the spices.
- Pour some water to the pan and cook it with the covered lid for about 10 minutes and stir it in between.
- Then, close the burner and take out the palak in a bowl and it is ready to serve with hot roti/parantha.
