Keerai Masiyal

  • 0.25 kg Palak
  • 2.00 tbsp Oil
  • 0.25 tbsp cumin
  • 0.25 tbsp mustard
  • 0.50 tbsp red chili powder
  • 0.50 tbsp coriander powder
  • 0.25 tbsp turmeric
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.50 tbsp Salt

Instructions

  • At first, take out the end of the the palak and use the leaves only and then wash them with the water.

  • Then, take the spices in one plate along with the salt and mix all of them together to make one spice.

  • Now take the oil in the pan ( preferably the iron pan), and let it gets heat, and then add cumin and mustard to it.

  • Then add all the spices to the oil and fry foe few seconds and then add the palak to the pan and mix with the spices.

  • Pour some water to the pan and cook it with the covered lid for about 10 minutes and stir it in between.

  • Then, close the burner and take out the palak in a bowl and it is ready to serve with hot roti/parantha.
