STEP : 1
Today I am going to share katla machher jhal it is very easy to cook and its taste is awesome.Me and my family like katla machhthe most because its fleshed is very softened smooth and has a sweet taste.lets cook Katla machher jhal.
STEP : 2
At first take half kg of Katla Machh cut it into pieces. Pieces should be medium sized.It is appropriate for 4 to 5 persons.Wash it properly in running water.Then add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and salt Mix it propérly.

Now take a frying pan of kadhai. Let it be heated.Add 3 tbsp of mastered oil in it and heat it.Now slide fishes in this oil make sure the gas flame should be medium unless it will be burn. Shallow fry the fishes.

Keep aside the fishes. Now take two big potatoes peel them and cut them vertically as shown the picture.Take onion and chopped it finely.Take half inch ginger and grate it. Take tomato and chopped it also finely.

Add 1 or 2 tbsp of mastered oil in the same pan in which we fried the fish. Use the left oil in the pan.let it be heated.Add mangrail or kalo jeere in it it gives the dish a good flavour.

Now add the potatoes in the oil.Let it fry for sometimes till the potatoes takes light brown colour. Add 1 pinch of salt in the potatoes it helps to cook fast.Now add chopped onions in it.Mix well both.

Now add the grated ginger in it and 1 or 2 piece of green chilly break the chilies in two parts.Now add the chopped tomatoes.Mix the whole ingredients properly.Add turmeric powder and salt as needed .

Now add two cup of water in it add the fried fishes in it let it be boiled once then sim the gas cover the kadhai or pan for 15 mins.After 15 mins open the cover our dish is ready.Garnish it fresh coriander leaves. And serve the katla machher jhal with hot rice.
