Akkie Rotie is the one of the famous breakfast recipe , and it is a good combination with the Coconut chutney , and we can make this easily within an 1/2 an hour , and for making this dish we have to use the hot water for smooth dish .

Ingredients of Akki roti

1.00 cup Rice
0.25 cup Rice Flour
1.00 tbsp Cumin seeds
1.00 tbsp Salt
1.00 cup Onion
1.00 no Green Chilly
0.25 cup Water
1.00 tbsp oil

Akki roti

Firstly we have to take 2 cup of rice flour , we can be prepared in home also , by grinding the rice .

Take some curry leaves , wash this in a water and chopped this as much as possible .

Take one green Chilly and chopped this in small pieces , as in below image .

Now take a one onion remove the outer layer , and chopped that in a small size .

Now Add 1 table spun of Cumin seeds to the bowel , as in the below image .

Now take a one coconut and grated that as in the below image .

Now add all the chopped ingredients to the bowel ,  and add 1 table spun salt to the bowel .

After adding all the ingredients to the bowel mix it well ,without adding the water.

Now add 1/2 cup of water and mix it slowly , don't add too much water .

Now take a one cup of rice , which is fully cooked as a soft and grind .

After grinding the rice it looks as in below image , we have to add 1/4 cup of water for grinding purpose .

After that add the grinded rice to the bowel , and mix it well , don't add water in this stage .

After mixing all the ingredients it looks as in the below image ,  keep it aside for 5 minutes .

After 5 minutes take the mixer and make it ball type for makings rotie .

Now take a one Banana leaves , apply 1/2 spun of oil and spread fully .

After applying the oil , spread the mixer on the banana leaves as in the below image .

Now take a one thava , make it heat in a medium flame , for making roti .

Add some oil around the rottie , and cook both the side one by one .

This dish is so unique , in this roti chilli and coconut are used which makes this roti sweet and spicy . Which I love to eat some spicy and sweet. This dish is so yummy and tasty dish , we can prepare at home as all steps are clear about the dish. thank you for the recipe.

Very good and healthy option for breakfast . Though it's little time taking to mix all the ingredients well and give roti the desired consistency but once done that properly it comes out very delicious, not difficult to cook. Rice flour is also easily available , we can also try this with adding vegetables to the dough, making it super healthy and rich. Can be easily served with dahi and chutney. Coconut chutney is also going well with this roti. I added chopped tomatoes also to make vit more tangy it turned out good.thanks for such perfect recipe.

Akki roti is a healthy dish. Though preparation takes time, cooking was pretty easy and simple. The taste was so good that it can be taken without any chutney. But you can taste it spicy tomato chutney, it was more yummy. Thanks for a healthy roti.
