Ingredients of Kanchipuram idli

3.00 cup Idli batter
1.00 tbsp Turmeric powder
1.00 tbsp Chilli powder
0.50 cup curry leaves
0.50 cup Coriander leaves
2.00 tbsp salt
1.00 tbsp Hing
1.00 tbsp Crunched ginger
1.00 tbsp Urad dal
1.00 tbsp Crunched black pepper
2.00 tbsp Oil
1.00 tbsp Cumin seeds
0.50 tbsp Baking soda

Kanchipuram idli

The key ingredients to prepare kancheepuram idli ,we need idli batter,curry leaves ,coriander leaves ,turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,ginger,urad dal,black pepper,oil,cumin seeds,baking soda and hing or asafoetida.

Take a required batter combination of a cup of raw rice,two cup of parboiled rice ,two cup of urad dal and a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds and it is fermented for 6 to 8 hours or overnight,now add a pinch of salt and baking soda mix it well and keep aside.
