Ingredients of Idli cake
STEP : 1
Take the maida, baking powder, sugar (powdered) and mix it in a bowl with a pinch of vanilla essence. - Keep a cup of milk, a few gems and chocolate syrup.

The cake is prepared by steaming in an idly stand in a microwave. We are using the stand as shown in the image.

Add the milk to the mixture of the maida, sugar, baking powder and stir it very well to form a very well beaten mixture.
STEP : 4
Put the mixture in the idly stands as shown in the individual cups so that they can be put in the microwave for steaming.
STEP : 5
After the cake is cooled a little then pour it out from the idly stands into a bowl as shown in the image.

Pour out the steamed cake from the stand and put it in a plate for settling down to do the decoration.
STEP : 7
Now take the gems and soak it in some milk and then add it on the top of the cake for the decoration.
STEP : 8
Add the chocolate syrup on the cakes for decoration and let it settle down well and solidify then the cake is ready to be served.
