Horse-gram s a rarely known beans but it has many medicinal properties and very useful for removing kidney stones and lowering the high blood pressure,It has the power to burn unnecessary fats in our body that means very good for diet and diabetics patients.You can pair this gravy with rice and tiffin varieties.

Ingredients of Horse gram curry

1.00 cup Horse gram
2.00 no onion
2.00 no tomato
2.00 cup assorted veggies
1.00 no tamarind extract
1.00 tbsp Red chilly powder
3.00 tbsp kulambu chilly powder
1.00 tbsp curry leaves
1.00 tbsp mustard seeds
2.00 tbsp salt
3.00 tbsp oil
1.00 cup grated coconut
0.50 cup roasted groundnut
1.00 tbsp green chilly

In a pan heat cooking oil temper the mustard seeds,when oil is hot enough.add curry leaves and chopped garlic and finely chopped 2 medium size onions and saute it well

saute the veggies for a while then add horse-gram,and mix well for two minutes and this stage adjust water if necessary and allow to cook for five minutes in medium to high flame.

by this time the vegetables should turn tender, GRINDING: In a mixer jar add 1 cup of grated coconut ,1-2 green chilly and a table of roasted groundnut and grind it into a fine paste.
