A classic and exotic Bengali Hilsha fish recipe love all the fish lover. A healthy alternative to the regular fish curry , these delicately flavoured Hilsha fish curry with Brinjal , kalonji and mustered oil make a very bright meal served with hot steamed rice for a happy meal.

Ingredients of Hilsa fish curry

4.00 no Hilsha fish pieces
1.00 no brinjal
4.00 no green chili
0.25 tbsp kalonji
0.50 tbsp salt
0.25 tbsp turmeric powder
0.25 cup oil

Hilsa fish curry

Take a brinjal, fore peices of hilsha fish, some green chillies, some kalonji , all those things bring together and keep aside.

Take the hilsha fish peices and wash with water properly, Then add some salt and some turmeric powder then mix them well and marinate for five minutes .

Hot a pan then add some oil in it , when oil become hot add the marinated fish and fry them properly in high flame .

this recipe of fish curry was different and if you like fishes you can definitely try out this dish. i honestly did not like this fish curry that much as i do not like hilsa fish. but the curry was really nice with the added ingredients and flavors like Brinjal , kalonji and mustered oil that brought out a really strong and nice taste to the curry. it is a good dish overall and does not require much time also to prepare.
