By the name itself we know it is a Chinese style dish using tilapia and some sauces ,it will give restaurant style taste and also it’s more safe as we not adding any ajnomotto or any other preservatives.
Fish Manchurian – Chinese Restaurant Style Spicy Fish Manchurian Recipe
A fish manchurian is made by chinese dish like as restaurant style preparation. This is a healthy side dish for everyone including kids also. Fish manchurian recipe taste is spicy.
Ingredients
Fish Preparation
- 1.00 kg Tilapia fish
- 1.00 cup Corn flour
- 2.00 tbsp Red chili powder
- 0.50 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
- 0.50 cup Oil
Masala preparation
- 0.50 cup Oil
- 1.00 tbsp Ginger
- 1.00 tbsp Garlic
- 2.00 tbsp Green chilly
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 1.00 tbsp Corn flour
- 0.50 cup Capsicum
Instructions
Fish Preparation
- At the first step clean the tilapia fish well we need only it’s flesh , if you buy fillet of tilapia it will be more easy for you.
- Then remove the flesh with skin ,you can avoid skin if you don’t like , take the flesh. Then clean it and keep aside.
- Then take a bowl and pour some cornflour, all purpose flour some chilly powder just for a colour and turmeric powder.
- Pour some water and make a thick batter to stick with the fish and then put the fish flesh to it and mix well
- Then heat a Kadai or pan and put some oil to deep fry , then when it is hot add the fish one by one to it
- Then let the fish gets brawn or cooked well then repeat the same with the remaining fish and keep it aside .
Masala Preparation
- Heat a pan or Kadai and put some oil to it ,when it is hot add nicely chopped ginger garlic and green chilly .
- Saute it well and then add the sliced onion to it stir well and saute for two to three minutes .
- Then put the sauces to it ,mix well and then put the fried fish pieces to it then again mix it.
- Close the pan for about five minutes and keep in low flame then pour some cornflour and water if you need thick gravy.
- Then put some sliced capsicum to it and then mix it well and off the flame,after adding capsicum no need to cook again.
- Our tilapia Manchurian is ready to serve , add spring onion if you need more taste . Serve hot along with fried rice or chappathi.
